Aaron Sickman is on the Advisory Board for United Heroes League.
Aaron is the Manager of Media Relations and Team Services with the Minnesota Wild. He started as an intern with the organization in June of 1998 and has held a number of positions in the club’s communications and broadcasting department including Manager of Corporate Communications and Internet Services and Communications Manager.
His responsibilities include organizing television, radio and newspaper interview requests for players and front office personnel, assisting in the writing of all team information, facilitating player appearance requests and assisting in the organization’s social media efforts. Aaron also assists in team operations managing practice times, equipment transfers and the clubs travel schedule.
A Twin Cities native, he attended John Marshall High School in Rochester, MN, and graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a double major in Organizational Management and Geography. Aaron also earned a Master’s in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and served as the media relations intern for the NFL’s Miami Dolphins in 1997.
He and his wife, Kari, have two sons, Evan and Tate. The family resides in Burnsville.
