Cameco supports Defending The Blue Line®. Cameco is a Canadian nuclear energy company and started the partnership with United Heroes League in 2013 with a $10,000 donation. This will go a long way in helping military kids with their dreams of playing hockey by providing them with equipment and association fees. June 28 – 29, 2015 – The Camo Gala took place in the Grand Ballroom at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake, Minnesota. While the Camo Classic golf event was held at The Meadows at Mystic Lake Casino. Thank you to Cameco for helping to sponsor the event.
June 30, 2014 – Cameco was a sponsor during the Celebrity Camo Classic Golf Tournament. Defending The Blue Line® hosted the charity golf tournament to benefit the children of military members so they are afforded every opportunity to participate in the game of hockey. The tournament was held at The Meadows at Mystic Lake in Prior Lake, Minnesota and featured 36 foursomes. Most of these foursomes included a 5th pro hockey or sports player. This was not a traditional golf tournament as each hole featured various military inspired themes in addition to popular tourney contests.
2014 – Cameco donated a great trailer which will help United Heroes League attend events to help the military kids play hockey. United Heroes League added the trailer wrap for advertising.
