Devin Pacheco joined the United Heroes League staff in February of 2017 as the Director of Events & Marketing. He will primarily focus on developing, implementing, and executing fundraisers & special events across the country. Pacheco was first introduced to Defending The Blue Line in 2011 while working in Marketing and Team Operations for the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden through DTBL player representative, Derek Boogaard.
Prior to enlisting with United Heroes League, Pacheco spent 5 years at the University of Minnesota as the marketing and event presentation director for Men’s Hockey and the Gopher Football Fan Fest. During his tenure at the University of Minnesota, Pacheco has won three Upper Midwest Emmy awards and has earned National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrator accolades.
The Superior, WI native graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Sport Management from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. While an undergrad, he was a member of the varsity soccer team and served as a student-athlete advisory committee representative. After earning his Bachelor’s degree, Pacheco went on to earn a master’s degree in Sport Business Management from Manhattanville College in New York. He currently resides in Minneapolis, MN with his fiancee.
