George Parros

George Parros, retired NHL player, has supported United Heroes League since 2011 and now serves on the Board of Directors.

October 28, 2012 – Parros attended and played in the NHL Players Charity Game to benefit Defending the Blue Line.

2011 – 2012 Hockey Season – George Parros and DTBL provided 4 home game tickets for every Ducks game. George is shown here with recipients of some of those games. In an interview with the Boston Herald, Parros said, “Defending the Blue Line is a cool thing – It’s great to be able to help kids stay involved in hockey while a parent or maybe both parents are away. When I heard about it, I was glad to become a part of it.”

2011 – Through DTBL’s “Parros’ Platoon”, George provided active duty soldiers and their families with free tickets to Ducks games.

2011 – George helps military families in many ways. He donated 100 full sets of equipment to DTBL. Parros is known as an enforcer on the ice. Off the ice, he uses that same intensity in his support of military members. Thank you George for your support of both our mission, and your support of service members everywhere.
