2018 Twin Cities Auto Show – Oil Changes for Military Appreciation Night
TWIN CITIES AUTO SHOW Presented by SuperAmerica® To Host Military Appreciation Night on March 13 GMADA Dealerships To Donate $1 From Oil Changes in February to United Heroes League The 45th Twin Cities Auto Show will roll into the Minneapolis Convention Center March 10 – 18, 2018. On Tuesday, March 13, the Show will host its fourth annual Military Appreciation Night. In preparation, dealerships within the Greater Metropolitan Automobile Dealership Association (GMADA) will donate one dollar for every oil change performed in the month of February 2018. The donations will be collected and presented to the United Heroes League Programs for Military Kids on Military Appreciation Night at the Twin Cities Auto Show. The United Heroes League, a 501.c.3 and formerly known as Defending the Blue Line, has provided over $8 million dollars’ worth of free sports equipment, game tickets, cash grants, and summer camps to military families across the United States and Canada. United Heroes League actively works to ensure that children of military members are afforded every opportunity to participate in sports. To date, they have helped over 50,000 military families keep or start their kids in several sports, primarily in hockey and baseball. On March 13, active, retired and/or disabled veterans will receive free admission to the Show. Their guests will receive $2 off regular admission. That evening, an honorary ceremony will take held at the Twin Cities Auto Show. Several military groups, organizations and individuals will be represented including:
•The American Legion, Department of Minnesota Color Guard•The 34th Infantry “Red Bull” Band•Veterans of Foreign War Color Guard•The Minnesota National Guard•United Heroes League•Toyota The Twin Cities Auto Show is produced by the Greater Metropolitan Automobile Dealers Association of Minnesota, Inc.
