National Hockey League Players’ Association
The National Hockey League Players Association, NHLPA, is one of the largest contributors to Defending The Blue Line®. The NHLPA Goals and Dreams Foundation has donated over $330,000 in equipment and financial support TO UNITED HEROES LEAGUE. With their help United Heroes League has been able to outfit over 550 military kids, from all over the world, with top of the line gear. Families request the gear, sign for it, and when it is outgrown they return it to be sterilized and re-issued. United Heroes League is truly grateful for the massive amount of support both financially and logistically that they have provided to military families.

The kids received some great training from the likes of Nate Prosser, Tom Chorske, Aaron Boogaard, Zach McKelvie, and Matt Langen from the NHLPA.
It was a dream come true for the service members’ kids, who represented every branch of the military. Each skater went home with some new training tips, a trophy, a jersey, and most of all the memory of a lifetime. This was such a great night to have the kids out to skate, then get a few autographs, and finally watch their idols put on a show in team Army’s 7-5 victory. Thank you to NHLPA for coming out and supporting such an awesome evening.
