Founded in 1824 in Troy, New York, Rensselaer Polytechnic Instituteis the nation’s oldest technological university. Rensselaer athletics offers 23 varsity teams, including hockey. The athletic department of RPI has joined up to support Defending The Blue Line®.
February 21, 2014 – Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men’s hockey team wore special camouflage uniforms as they celebrated Military Appreciation Night at the Houston Field House, during an ECAC Hockey game against St. Lawrence University. This event, which is sponsored by E. Stewart Jones Law Firm, benefits a pair of charitable organizations that support military veterans and their families. Proceeds from the auction of the camo jerseys went to two charities including Defending The Blue Line®.
August 17, 2013 – Defending The Blue Line® is proud to announce that RPI Men’s Hockey assistant coach Nolan Graham is running in the Beast of Burden Run, a 50 mile ultra marathon in Lockport, NY. All of the donations that Nolan receives will benefit Defending The Blue Line®
