Background:
Our friends at River Valley Marine and Centurion have invited UHL families to partake in the Heroes Tour Family BBQ Day. River Valley’s Centurion Heroes Tour is a “Salute to Service” event tour that provides military families with access to water sports. We believe by doing so, we can help heal the emotional wounds of military veterans and their families.
Event Details:
WHO: Military families (max of 8 people, age 8 and up)
WHAT: Spend a fun afternoon grilling & wake surfing
WHERE: Covill Park, Red Wing, MN
WHEN: Saturday, July 31st
Timeline:
10:45 AM- Registration and group boat pairings
11:00 AM- BBQ, Drawings, Meet & Greet
1:30 PM- Launch Boats
4:00 PM- Group Photo on the River
Requirements:
Participants should be comfortable in a boat and water. Participants are not required to know how to ski, board or surf (you will be taught how).
Families must be willing to fill out a liability waiver for each participant.
