Steve Payne is on the Advisory Board for United Heroes League. He is a former Minnesota North Star.
May 2015 – Former Minnesota North Star Steve Payne, dedicated his time to work with River Falls Youth Hockey Association skaters and Coaches on the ice. RFYHA was able to raise close to $1,000.00 for Defending the Blue Line, a charity that helps to assist in the mission of providing opportunities for service families to stay in hockey! This was all due to Steve Payne’s dedicating his time to working with our coaches and youth!!! Many parents in the Association enjoyed watching a hockey legend from their time work with their kids!!! It was a great day for RFYHA and DEFENDING THE BLUE LINE and we can’t wait to have Steve Payne back!!!
2012 – Steve Payne played on the Military team during the “Skate For The Troops 2” event.
2011 – Steve played for the NHL Alumni Team as they squared off against the MN Military All-Stars during the exhibition game which was part of the DTBL “Skate For The Troops” event at the Eagan Civic Ice Arena.
